Public Participation

The RPP is a process that culminates with a document of shared goals, objectives, strategies, and recommendations that will serve as a guide in the restoration and protection of the watershed.  Over the past four years there have been several planned opportunities for individuals and groups to voice their interests and concerns on issues effecting the Cayuga Lake Watershed.  Additionally, individuals and groups are encouraged to take a more active role by working with the IO member in your municipality, attending or becoming an active member of an IO committee, commenting on draft documents as they become available, and/or become an active member of other organizations concerned with the future of the Cayuga Lake Watershed.  The following is a summary of past and present public participation activities.
