Resident Survey
Because of the difficulty in obtaining input from the large number of residents in the Cayuga Lake Watershed (approximately 120,000), distribution of a survey would provide an efficient method to gather widespread input. The resident input could be incorporated into the Cayuga Lake Restoration & Protection Plan process and could help address the issues and potential scientific gaps more thoroughly. Using a scientific survey method, the survey would be mailed to approximately 24,000 residents. The survey would also be made available at various public meetings and educational workshops.
