Cayuga Lake Watershed
Preliminary Watershed Characterization
The Cayuga Lake Watershed Intermunicipal Organization (IO) is leading the implementation of a
Cayuga Lake Watershed Restoration and Protection Plan (RPP).
The IO is a coalition of towns, villages and counties formed for the
purpose of protecting the watershed. To that end, the IO produced a
Preliminary Watershed Characterization. The Characterization reflects
extensive comments received in conjunction with public meetings in January
2001 and February 2000. The full report is available

A limited number of CD-ROM versions of the Preliminary Characterization have been distributed. Supplemental instructions on using the CD are available (see CD-ROM Instructions).
