Each IO municipality will be asked to finalize their financial commitment to
the second year of the Cayuga Lake Watershed Management Plan as previously
requested.

Cooperative
Agreement Update:
A presentation was made to the Network’s board of Directors on March 9.
The purpose of the presentation was to initiate greater cooperation between the
Network and the IO. The outcome of the presentation will be discussed.

By-laws:
The By-law Committee will propose a set of governing by-laws for adoption by
the IO. Members will have an opportunity to comment before voting.

year activities:
Completion of the Cayuga Lake Watershed Characterization marks the end of Phase
I of the project. As the management planning phase gets under way the IO will
be presented with an outline of actions that need to be completed through the
end of the project in 2001. The IO will also have an opportunity to outline
their schedule for the upcoming year.

Lake Source Cooling Data Review Update:
Cornell University has stated that it intends to make all data concerning their
lake source cooling project publicly available. Dan Winch will provide an
update on the plans for data sharing/data review

– No reports; however, please note that
the
Technical Committee will be reviewing proposals for municipal projects to be
funded under the NYS Bond Act at its April meeting. Municipalities are
encouraged to review the enclosed project selection criteria and submit
specific projects to the Technical Committee as soon as possible.
